The parents called the police and it took the intervention of the chairman of the Examinations Committee to stop the work
A great disturbance was caused today at the 1st Lyceum of Volos, where inside the classrooms the children were giving Panhellenic speeches while outside a contractor’s crew was carrying out work with a compressor.
Parents waiting for their children outside the school immediately called the police, who initially declined to intervene, according to Secondary Education.
According to the president of the Magnesia Examinations Committee S. Savelidis, the noise from the machines did not reach the classrooms, but the parents were not convinced.
“No one will drive our children crazy” the parents shouted.
According to gegonota.news, the president of the Examination Center immediately intervened and the contractor team was temporarily removed to return after a while, ignoring the fact that it did not allow the children to gather.
The police and the council were notified, who said the contractor had a permit and therefore was not required to stop work!
S. Savelidis contacted the police director and said he would file a lawsuit against the contractor (this means they would be arrested immediately).
Finally, with the intervention of the chairman of the Examinations Committee, the work was stopped.
