THE Karolina Markiewicz-Kuskowska assumes the duties of its president Henkel for Hellas and Cyprus from June 1, 2024, in addition to her role as general manager for HCB (Henkel Consumer Brands).

Ms. Markiewicz-Kuskowska succeeds George Tsounakis, who is retiring on June 30, 2024, after 27 years of successful tenure and outstanding contribution from various positions of responsibility at Henkel Hellas.

According to a related announcement, under the leadership of Mr. Tsounakis, Henkel Hellas and Schwarzkopf Professional have marked a remarkable course in the Greek market by leveraging the company’s pioneering spirit, knowledge and resources combined with a strong product portfolio, constructive partnerships and competitive advantages.

During his term as president, Mr. Tsounakis successfully represented and promoted the values ​​of both companies both externally and internally, simultaneously developing and strengthening the spirit of cooperation and teamwork among his colleagues.

Ms. Markiewicz-Kuskowska assumed the position of General Manager of Henkel Consumer Brands for Greece and Cyprus in 2022 with the aim, on the one hand, to optimize the performance of the new corporate form in key strategic issues, such as innovation, sustainability and digitization to benefit customers and consumers and, on the other hand, take care of the people who are the real drivers of success.

Ms. Markiewicz-Kuskowska has more than 20 years of experience in marketing, trademarketing and sales for consumer goods companies.

Since 2013, she has been a member of the Henkel family covering roles of increased responsibility such as the role of general manager of Henkel Beauty Care in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.
