In detail, according to today’s GEA announcement, in the joint training, the Air Force participated with 56 F-16 aircraft, while on the Israeli side, two Air Refueling B707 Tanker aircraft of 120 Squadron (Desert Giants) participated.
“The activity was aimed at training, familiarization and coordination of F-16 crews in Air to Air Refueling (AAR) procedures day and night, which contributed to increasing the level of operational readiness, combat capability, knowledge sharing and upgrading the military synergy of the two countries“, states the relevant announcement.
