Sta Mathematics and specifically Algebra were examined today, Saturday June 1, 2024, the EPAL candidates, claiming a place in Higher Education during the next academic year, 2024-25.

THE ANSWERS OF THE SUBJECTS

Expected and passable issues

“The issues were expected. They had no surprises and cover the whole range of material, with escalating difficulty.

Topic A examines the theory and S-L moves within the context of the book.
Topic B is simple. It examines basic concepts of analysis, accessible to the majority of students.
Topic C examines basic concepts of Statistics and will not make it difficult for the candidates. B4 may be difficult for candidates.
Subject D was of medium difficulty. Combines functions, derivatives and statistics.

In general, the subjects are passable for the candidates who have worked with the method all year and will have satisfactory results”, according to Mr. Paschalis Nikas from the “Diakrotima Training Group”.

The schedule for the next few days

Regarding the General High Schools (GEL), the Tuesday June 4th the exams will be held for Ancient Greek (Humanities Orientation Group), Mathematics (O.P. Positive Studies and Economics and Informatics Studies) and Biology (O.P. Health Studies). On Thursday, June 6candidates will be examined in Latin (O.P. Humanities), Chemistry (O.P. Positive Studies and Health Studies) and Informatics (O.P. Economics and Informatics Studies).

There will be a gap in exams due to the holding of the European Elections on June 9 and thus, the examinations of the nationwide examined courses will be completed on Wednesday June 12, with the courses: History (O.P. Humanities), Physics (O.P. Positive Studies and Health Studies), Economics (O.P. Economics and Informatics Studies).

Accordingly, the Panhellenic program for EPAL candidates is as follows:

EPAL candidates from 3 until June 17 they will be examined in specialty courses, with a gap in between, due to the European elections, between June 5 and 11.

The exam start time is set at 08:30 and thus candidates should reach the examination halls by 08:00. The duration of the exam is three (3) hours.

  • Thursday, June 27, 2024: Spanish
  • Friday, June 28, 2024: Italian

Special courses and practical test for TEFAA

The examinations of the special courses will be held from 18 to 28 June 2024. Similarly, the conduct of the Health Examinations and Practical Test of the candidates (GEL and EPAL) for admission to the Departments of Science of Physical Education and Sports (TEFAA) from 17 to and June 28.
