A 61-year-old Swede was arrested in Keratsini by the State Security, who threatened political figures of his country and was suspected of committing crimes.
The 61-year-old foreigner was arrested on Friday morning for violating the arms legislation, because 4 rifles, 2 pistols, a number of cartridges of various calibers, 3 binoculars, a silencer and 9 portable wireless transceivers were found and confiscated in his home, for which the Swedish authorities had revoke his license as he was suspected of committing offences.
As it was established, the 61-year-old lived in our country for at least a year, without having carried out the prescribed procedure of declaring their possession to the Greek authorities, nor was he able to document that he was active as a shooter or hunter.
The Swedish authorities proceeded to revoke the firearms license because he was suspected of committing crimes, as he had shared videos on a popular social networking platform with threatening content about the country’s political figures.
The arrested person was taken to the competent Criminal Prosecutor of Piraeus.
