The main feature of the new program is the acceleration of the procedures, as there is now only one stage, that of the submission for payment, after the interested party buys the electric vehicle
It opens from tomorrow Friday June 7th at 12:00 am. the information system of the 3rd cycle of the “Moving Electric” action to receive applications for subsidizing the purchase or lease of electric vehicles. The system has been in pilot mode since Monday, June 3.
The main feature of the new program is the acceleration of the procedures, as now there is only one stage, that of the submission for payment, after the interested party buys the electric vehicle. Also, the maximum car subsidy for natural persons was increased, from 8,000 euros, which was the previous cycle, to 9,000 euros. The subsidy, if combined with the increase in the retirement of an old vehicle (before 2010), from 1,000 euros to 2,000 euros, amounts to a total of 11,000 euros. The subsidy is additionally increased by 1,000 euros, for people with disabilities, those with many children, and young people up to 29 years of age. For legal entities, the amount of the subsidy is reduced by 2,000 euros, in order to cover most of the increased demand for company electric cars.
At the same time, according to an announcement by the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport, today, with the 17th relevant credit approval decision, the accounts of 478 beneficiaries of the “Moving Electric 2” program will be credited with the amount of 1,780,260 euros, which concerns the subsidy of 521 vehicles. Of this amount, 872,000 euros concern 366 beneficiaries, who are natural persons. Including the above subsidy, the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport since November 2023 has paid 8,250 beneficiaries, the amount of 27,918,572 euros, for the purchase of an electric vehicle.
