The top institution announced its list of the world’s best restaurants at a glitzy event held in Las Vegas.
The list for 2024 includes restaurants from five continents with Spain winning the limelight, with 3 restaurants from the country in the top five. Closing a decade of operation, Barcelona’s Disfrutar triumphed by winning first place, while Asador Etxebarri (Asondo, Basque Country) and DiverXO (Madrid) followed in second and fourth place, respectively. The top five is completed by the French Table by Bruno Verjus (Paris) in third place and the Peruvian Maido (Lima) in fifth place.

As for last year’s winner, Central (Lima, Peru), it was moved to the special Best of the Best list this year along with innovative restaurants of previous years, such as Geranium, Eleven Madison Park and others.
