According to a police source at the BBC, the unfortunate man had been lying dead next to the fence “for days” – A coroner from Rhodes is expected at the scene
The thriller of the search for BBC presenter Michael Mosley in Symi, who had been missing since last Wednesday, had a tragic end. His body was found by chance today from footage of the ERT crew, about 10 meters from the beach of Agia Anna, behind a fence of a plot of land that extended onto the beach.
According to a police source at the BBC, Mosley had been lying there dead “for days”.
The body had begun to decompose and the deceased was identified by the clothes he was wearing.

A medical examiner from Rhodes is going to the spot where the 67-year-old British tourist was found dead, while his body is expected to be transferred to the Rhodes hospital for the autopsy.
According to the mayor of the island Lefteris Papakalodoukas to SKAI, the unfortunate presenter managed to cross the entire steep slope in hot conditions, but 10 meters before reaching the beach, he fell there – unknown how, maybe he got dizzy or tripped – leaving his last breath helpless , since he didn’t even have his cell phone with him.
