One very hot summer is just around the corner for the entire country, according to EMY measurements and models.

Scientists predict that the averages temperatures of the June-July-August quarter will be daily 1-2 degrees Celsius above normalwith often heat waveswhich will alternate with intervals of normal and/or lower temperatures.

In terms of precipitation, both models, both the ECMWF and the multi-model, for most European regions predict normal conditions, with a tendency for more rain in northern Europe and a tendency for generally less in central and southern Europe.

Indications of slightly above average rainfall values ​​exist locally and in the eastern Mediterranean.

Especially for Greece, based on ECMWF, indications of reduced rainfall appear in East Macedonia – Thrace North East Aegean Sea.

Small ones possibilities for some increased rainfall appear on Cycladesan area where, for this time of year, traces of rain are enough to have a positive deviation.
