The 22-year-old was found alive who had disappeared since yesterday afternoon with his sailboat from the sea area of Epanomi, while the Port Authorities of Thessaloniki, Katerini, Nea Michaniona and Nea Moudania were informed about the incident on the evening of 14/6.
In particular, the Authorities were informed that a 22-year-old operator of a LAZER type boat is missing, who had set sail yesterday afternoon from the port of Epanomi for training in an unknown direction.
According to the Coast Guard, the local search and rescue emergency plan was implemented and the search for him began, with the participation of an LS-EL.AKT patrol boat, an LS-EL.AKT patrol vehicle , two amateur boats as well as a group of volunteers from land.

He was then picked up by an EKAB ambulance and taken to the Nea Michaniona Health Center for further medical examinations.
A preliminary investigation is carried out by the 1st Port Department of Nea Michaniona of the Central Port Authority of Thessaloniki.
