The reasons for the suspension of the daily newspaper are explained in a statement by the Board of Directors of the newspaper “The Dawn”.
As noted, the goal is to upgrade the Sunday edition and the “avgi.gr” website in the context of financial rationalization and given the difficult financial situation of the company.

“In the context of the financial rationalization and given the difficult financial situation of the company, the Board of Directors decided, in consultation with the main shareholder, to suspend the publication of the daily sheet of the newspaper “I Avgi” in order to upgrade the Sunday edition and the website “avgi.gr”
