A 36-year-old man was brought to Kritsa Lasithiou from Oropedio Katharou this evening, dead from a gunshot wound, by the hands of his gunman.
The 36-year-old was picked up by an EKAV ambulance, but it was already too late.
He was taken to the Agios Nikolaos Hospital, where unfortunately he was pronounced dead.
Late on Wednesday night, the perpetrator was handed over to the Lasithi police authorities, according to his information cretalivewhile he stated to the police that he threw away the fatal pistol when he realized the tragedy, to the point that he does not remember exactly.

The two men had allegedly consumed a large amount of alcohol.
