The elderly father who was severely beaten by his 42-year-old son, in Toumba, ended up in the hospital
last Sunday.
The 82-year-old was intubated in a serious condition at the Papanikolaou hospital.
The 42-year-old was arrested following the statement given to the Police by a doctor of the “Papanikolou” Hospital.
According to the doctor, the elderly man, when questioned, complained of severe rib pain and headache, confiding that his son had beaten both him and his wife.
The son was charged with domestic grievous bodily harm and after his plea, last Wednesday, he was remanded in custody.
The same apologist seems to have claimed that his elderly father fell into the bathroom alone.
According to information, the elderly couple did not want the Police to be notified, while the woman refused to undergo an examination.
When questioned by police, the elderly woman reported that the 82-year-old slipped and fell in the bathtub while he was alone in their home, while they decided to call EKAV because her husband was feeling dizzy.
