The grades of the special and music courses, as well as the performance grades in the practical tests for the TEFAA, of the candidates for the Hellenic GEL and EPAL Exams, were announced by the Ministry of Education, Religion and Sports. The statistics for this year’s scoring performance were also announced.
In particular, the following statistics are of interest regarding the performance of students in GEL:
- 16.93% of students scored below 10 or 10 in the English course, while only 5% scored above 18. It is noted that 15,379 students were examined in the English course.
- 36.66% of the students received a grade below 10 or 10 in practical tests for their admission to TEFAAs, only 2.41% achieved above 18. It is noted that 3,317 students were examined.
- 38.58% of students scored below basic in Music Perception, Theory and Harmony, while 6.43% scored above 18. It is noted that 762 students were examined in these special subjects.
Regarding the graded performance in EPAL:
- 41.86% of students scored below 10 or 10 in the English course, while only 0.84% ​​scored above 18. It is noted that 1,548 students from EPAL were examined in the English course.
- In the French course, 60% of the students scored below 10 or 10 in the French course, while no one scored above 18. It is noted that in the French course, 5 students from EPAL were examined.
