Pay attention to the tab

Retail businesses should pay particular attention to how they display the reduced price, which must be realistic and calculated with absolute precision.

In any announcement of a price reduction, the original price, before the discount, must be indicated and proven.

The two listed prices, initial and final, must be printed compulsorily, based on the Code of Conduct on price reduction announcements.

The previous price can be displayed in deleted form while, at the same time, it can be used additionally, either the reduction of a certain amount, or the discount percentage.

If the business makes consecutive price reductions, it can keep the original discounted price for up to 60 days.
