The 35,000 final beneficiaries of the action were posted on the vouchers.gov.gr platform “Thessaly Evros Pass 2024“, which is implemented in the framework of the cooperation of the Ministers of Tourism Olga Kefalogiannis, Digital Governance Dimitris Papastergiou, Interior Theodoris Livanios, the Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance Nikos Papathanasis, and the Deputy Ministers of National Economy and Finance Christos Dimas and Climate Crisis and Political Protection Christos Triandopoulos.

More specifically, the draw resulted in:

  • 21,000 beneficiaries of a €100 immaterial digital debit card for the “Thessaly A Pass 2024” program (7,000 for Phase 1 July-August 2024, 7,000 for Phase 2 September-October 2024, and 7,000 for Phase 3 November-December 2024) ,
  • 9,000 beneficiaries of an immaterial digital debit card of 150 euros for the “Thessaly B Pass 2024” program (3,000 for Phase 1 July-August 2024, 3,000 for Phase 2 September-October 2024, and 3,000 for Phase 3 November-December 2024) , and
  • 5,000 beneficiaries of a €200 immaterial digital debit card for the “Evros Pass 2024” program (1,000 for Phase 1 July-August 2024, 2,000 for Phase 2 September-October 2024, and 2,000 for Phase 3 November-December 2024).

Interested parties can search by their unique application identifier, as well as the last four (4) digits of their VAT number, if they are among the final beneficiaries.

They also have the ability to verify if they are among the final beneficiaries by logging into their application and checking the status of their application.

Beneficiaries’ applications resulting from a lottery will be in “Drawn” status.

  • For the beneficiaries of “Phase 1: July-August 2024”, the card issuance process is expected to start on 07/18/2024.
  • For the beneficiaries of “Phase 2: September – October 2024” and “Phase 3: November – December 2024”, the card issuance process is expected to start a few days before the start of the respective eligible period.

After issuance, the Payment Service Provider will inform the beneficiary by SMS and e-mail about the card activation process. It is noted that to store the immaterial digital debit card, a suitable mobile phone that supports NFC technology – contactless transactions – is required.

It is recalled that the immaterial digital cards will be able to be used for specific categories of expenses (local transport, catering and accommodation) with the aim of financially supporting the tourism activity in Municipalities and Municipal Units of the Region of Thessaly that were affected by the floods of September 2023, as well as in Municipalities and Municipal Units of the Evros Regional Unit of the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace, affected by the fires in the Summer of 2023.

It should be noted that the submission of applications within the framework of the Thessaly Evros Pass 2024 action through vouchers.gov.gr was completed on Friday, June 28 at 23:59. In total, more than 206,000 applications were generated during the application period, while 186,937 applications were finally submitted (96,263 applications aimed at the “Thessaly A Pass 2024” program, 70,648 applications aimed at the “Thessaly B Pass 2024” program and 20,026 applications that were intended for the “Evros Pass 2024” program).

Thessaly Evros Pass is implemented by the National Network of Technology and Research Infrastructures (EDYTE S.A. – GRNET), a body of the Ministry of Digital Governance, and is financed by the Public Investment Program.
