Fire in Rodopi, in the Arsakeio area
A fire in low vegetation occurred shortly before 2:30 p.m. in the area of Arsakeio Rodopi, in the Municipality of Maroneia-Sapon. 25 firefighters with 10 vehicles and five aircraft were mobilized to extinguish it.

In the meantime, the fire that broke out earlier in Ampelakia Rodopis – another southernmost area of the Municipality of Maroneia-Sapon – is currently without an active front. 38 firefighters with 16 vehicles remain at the scene, while 5 aircraft and 1 helicopter are dropping from the air.
