Among the changes, the removal of the Director of Recycling, who had been in that position for the past three years, is typical
Clearances… continued by the Regional Governor of Attica, Nikos Hardalia, as well as after the “sweep” in the Directorate of Transport and the “Armageddon” of changes that brought ups and downs in the health control services after the revelations about the extortion ring that had spread its tentacles and in the Region, it was EDSNA’s turn today.
According to information, it was completed by order of the Regional Governor of Attica another round of administrative changesthis time to the Special Interlevel Association of the Prefecture of Attica – the organization that manages Attica’s garbage – and while the administrative audit ordered by the new regional authority is in full progress.
According to the same information, among the changes, typical is the removal of the Director of Recycling, who was in that position for the last three years as well as in other departments for over a decade, as well as the Director of Financial Services for about 4 years. That is, two of the organization’s oldest executives who were in positions of responsibility.
As circles in the Region of Attica point out, the aim of these changes – the third in a row in the last two weeks – is on the one hand the consolidation of its services and on the other hand the operation of EDSNA with conditions of full transparency.
As pointed out, the removed executives will be moved to other organizational positions of the organization, which will not be related to the duties they performed until today, based on the regulatory provisions of the current legislation and the civil service code.
“EDSNA suffered in the past from behaviors and attitudes that harmed the public interest and damaged the Region’s image in society. This situation ends. And it ends definitively, as Nikos Hardalias is determined for radical changes, just as it was done both in the health control services and in the Directorate of Transport, with the aim of creating fully functional structures, with transparency everywhere, prestige and efficiency”, meaningfully noted partners of the Regional Governor of Attica.
It is also known that the Special Intergradation Association of the Prefecture of Attica has also concerned the National Transparency Authority, with the first information referring to an “opening” of more than 150 million euros – that is, obligations of the Association to third parties – that has entered for good under the microscope of the auditors, who scrutinize the deeds of the previous years.
“The goal of the new regional authority is to cure all evil spirits of the past”, underlined circles of the Attica Region, adding that “soon a holistic plan will be presented for a definitive, modern and sustainable strategy for the “green” management of waste in the largest region of country”.
