According to EL.AS, the incident took place on Saturday around 18:20 in a patrol carried out by border guards in the area during an operation to prevent the illegal entry of immigrants from Turkey into our country.
A bullet found the border guard, in the lower part of the abdomen, causing a piercing wound. He underwent an exploratory laparotomy and is now hospitalized out of danger.
Doctors who operated on the border guard and spoke to the Open said that he is very lucky because if the bullet went 2 millimeters lower, the situation would be more difficult because he would possibly lose his small intestine as well.
