A 27-year-old citizen of the Democratic Republic of Congo, who is hosted in the refugee structure in Koutsochero, Larissa, complained that a victim of gang rape fell. The 27-year-old – according to information from the newspaper “Eleftheria” of Larissa – complained to ELAS that she was raped on Tuesday at 8 pm by four men wearing masks and hoods to hide their facial features.
The 27-year-old was looking for a compatriot who is also hosted in the structure to finally find her unconscious and with torn pants in a small underground pedestrian crossing on the road Trikala – Larissa and at the height of the structure in Koutsochero. Crossing used by the guests of the Structure to go to the neighboring villages of the Municipality of Larissa.
The 27-year-old was transported to the General Hospital on duty with the initial impression that she was found unconscious in the underground passage due to health problems she is facing. However, when the woman met, she reported her rape by the four men.
The 27-year-old remains hospitalized, while in the context of the investigation of the complainants by the Larissa Security Sub-Directorate, a forensic examination was ordered. With the improvement of the woman’s health condition, the police investigation is expected to be extended by examining witnesses in order to identify the perpetrators.
