A horrific case of animal abuse in Efkarpia, Thessaloniki, was reported to SKAI as a witness. This is a dog that is apparently permanently chained.
The unfortunate animal is in a miserable condition, while apparently she gave birth recently, and she is sitting on her dead babies and crying.
There is blood on the legs and the babies are still with their eyes closed.
An eyewitness found at the scene describes to SKAI the situation:
“As can be seen in the photos at the spot, there is a fountain that was left open to fill the tank, with the result that the dog can not enter her house all these days with rain and temperatures below zero. “The water was dripping into the bowl with her food melted and the dog could not eat.”
While the eyewitness was at the spot, the “owners” arrived.
When they realized that something was happening, they took the dead babies, threw them and put their mother in another place with straw and no food according to the eyewitness.
“When they left, they turned the bowls over with the soaked food and all this so that no one could perceive the situation at first sight. “Then they disappeared from a dirt road,” the witness said.
