Plenty of space for all passengers inside and top-notch practicality thanks to the new cabin design
When Ford first revealed the Puma, the compact crossover segment immediately found its winner. Now, the new Ford Puma comes to further strengthen this pioneering character, having as its weapons not only the most advanced drive, safety and connectivity systems but also all the features that guarantee it the title of the most spacious, comfortable and practical B- SUV of the market.
In addition to its impressive proportions and distinctive exterior design, the new Ford Puma now features an even more refined and human-centric interior. Thanks to its monochromatic hue, the cabin of the new Ford Puma exudes an unmistakable allure, with surfaces that embrace the occupants and extend seamlessly from one door to the next, incorporating a finely vented instrument panel, a sculpted 3D soundbar as well as and an all-new sports steering wheel with two spokes and a flat bottom section.
The sense of luxury of a larger car is enhanced by the subtly integrated ambient lighting that indirectly illuminates the cabin creating a pleasant feeling. The seats, steering wheel and new sliding armrest are covered in Sensico synthetic leather. This gets subtle Cool Gray stitching on the Titanium trims and bold red cross-stitching on the ST-Line, which also gets sports pedals, high-quality aluminum alloy door sills and dark interior headliner.
The new Ford Puma’s laminated (acoustic) glass windscreen also contributes to the sense of shelter by improving sound insulation. An opening panoramic glass roof, which floods the interior of the car with light while offering passengers the opportunity to enjoy the cityscape on the move, is also available.
The new Ford Puma has not sacrificed any of the practicality that characterizes it over the years. The versatile and innovative cargo area uses the MegaBox to carry two sets of golf clubs upright or wet and muddy gear after outdoor activities, as it is easily washed and cleaned. The MegaBox offers an additional 80 liters of storage space on the boot floor, which means that items up to around 115 cm high can be stored upright. With the MegaBox the luggage compartment has a capacity of 456 liters with the rear seats in place, while with their full folding the maximum capacity reaches 1,216 litres. And all this in a vehicle with a length of only 4.2 meters.
Therefore, the Ford Puma comfortably meets the needs of family vacations and other getaways with a trunk capable of being filled with luggage or sports equipment.
New Ford Puma: With a design that enhances practicality and spaces
The exterior design of the new Puma builds on the distinctive character of Ford’s most popular passenger car in Europe with improvements that retain its unique charm and enhance the practicality and spaciousness it offers. Up front is the new Ford badge, flanked by all-new light fixtures, with a new claw-style light signature that enhances the new Ford Puma’s impressive road presence.
The Titanium versions of the model are inspired by the big brother of the new Puma – the new Kuga – with a chrome-free grille, which gives it a youthful look. The ST-Line versions adopt a unique, sporty design at the front, with the striking ST-Line X additionally featuring an exclusive rear spoiler.
The new Ford Puma is available in six striking colors, including the new Cactus Gray model, and can be equipped with alloy wheels with a diameter of 17 to 19 inches, depending on the version.
