A lawsuit was filed against three people who broke into a school building in Pieria a month ago and took equipment worth 28,000 euros. According to police, the identities of the three individuals – including a juvenile boy – have been identified and the equipment has been located and returned to the school.

Specifically, it was discovered after a methodical investigation by the police officers of the Katerin security sub-directorate, a theft from a school, which took place last July in the area of ​​Pieria and a case file was filed against two men and a minor boy, whose details have been identified.

On the evening of July 29, 2024, the individuals in question broke the door of the school building and removed a total of seven interactive touch screens, with a total value of 28,000 euros, as the school principal informed the police authorities.

The stolen goods were located and handed over to the school principal. The investigation by the police continues to ascertain their possible involvement in other similar criminal acts.

The case filed against them will be submitted to the public prosecutor of Katerinis.
