The 44-year-old man, accused of raping his son’s 16-year-old girlfriend at least 10 times, apologizes today.

According to ERT, the 44-year-old is facing a felony charge of rape, as well as a follow-up charge. According to the police, he drove her in his vehicle to a plot of land in Kolonos and inside the car he forced her to have sex.

The 16-year-old revealed the nightmare she was living first to a friend and then to her father, who made a complaint to the Police who trapped the 44-year-old.

The father testified that the accused had carried out at least 10 abusive acts against his 16-year-old daughter, against her will, under threats and blackmail, from last June until a few days ago. He allegedly told her that he will harm her and her family.

The defendant, who knew the minor through his son, was spotted driving his car outside the 16-year-old’s house on Thursday night.

The security officers, who were following him, asked him to stop for a check, he tried to escape, but he was surrounded by officers who had rushed and he was arrested.
