Her career and the roles she stands out
She spoke about her career in the field as well as the development of fiction Renia Louzidou. The actress gave an interview to Katerina Theodoropoulou and the insert of Typos TV, which is published with Sunday’s Free Press, commented, among other things, on the TV season that is starting:
-What is your comment for the new year? What do you think of the abundance of rows?
“I can’t say I understand what’s going on. I understand, however, that most of this increase has to do with the help coming from EKOME. The next day, when there is no ECOME, there will be no such activity on TV either. It helps, supports, supports so many series. Otherwise, I hear grumbling and commentary that ratings are down and so is advertising.
With 18% viewership, a series is breaking even, in the past we were talking about 40%. The channels complain that there is no money, that advertising is down, I don’t see any increase in fees. Having worked for more than 35 years in this job, I can say that the course of a channel depends on fiction every time.
That is why they are also the heavy cards of the channels in the evening zone. The existence of fiction is necessary because, among other things, it also creates content for the stations’ broadcasts. Every year there is grumbling, but in the end we have 40 series».
-Which role do you stand out?
“It’s like asking a mother to separate her children. Each one is a version of herself, each role, therefore, is a version of me at a different time.
Haroula from the series “To soi sou”, not having much in common with me, lasted ten years, with a small cast, but there was an emotional connection between us. For that reason alone I would say I love the role maybe a little more.
On the contrary, the Joy of the TV series “The Coffee of Joy” was a very happy moment. For 2003, Chara was a very groundbreaking character».
-Are you also innovative?
“At 58, I am not a conservative person».
