A Drug Prosecution operation in 2 houses in Athens and Agia Paraskevi on Monday night led to the dismantling of the ring and the seizure of a large “range” of drugs, including the pink “TUSI” cocaine.

Characteristic of the activity of the ring is the “range” of drugs they had on the market in order to cover the range of demand of their customers and the marketing of the so-called “TUSI” pink cocaine, the price of which is high.

Pink cocaine is considered the drug of the rich as a single gram reportedly costs $90,100 or $120 (€100-€120), while the same amount of regular cocaine costs around €70. It is pink in color, sometimes smells like strawberry and in Europe it is marketed under various names such as tucibi, tusi or pink powder.

During the operation, quantities of a wide range of narcotics were identified and seized, namely:
• “pink” cocaine, weighing -875- grams,
• cocaine, weighing -3- kilograms and -242- grams,
• raw hemp, weighing -50-kg and -605- grams,
• processed hemp, weighing -2- kilos and -686- grams,
• ketamine, weighing -875- grams,
• methamphetamine, weighing -545- grams,
• -3- scales, grater and machines for air-tight sealing of nylon packages for the distribution of drugs,
• bill counter and
• the monetary amount of -127,215- euros.

A 30-year-old man was arrested, two more people are being sought

The case was preceded by a combined investigation and evaluation of information and evidence that revealed and certified the action of three defendants (two citizens aged 30 and 33 and a 23-year-old foreigner) in the trafficking of different types of narcotics in the wider area of ​​Attica, while in the context of the operation he was arrested the above 30-year-old for violating the legislation on addictive substances.

The arrested person was taken to the Criminal Prosecutor of Athens, while his co-accused are being sought.
