Jada Pinkett Smith was forced to make her Instagram account private after a post that appears to have troubled her fans. But what did the actress say that made the “trolls” quickly get to work, in an attempt to deconstruct her. We have seen the play many times…

The 52-year-old actress, who has 11 million followers on the social networking platform, “uploaded” an image of a block of text with a message. This read: “A man can choose to belong to someone. And if he does… he is considered noble. A woman is told that she must belong to someone else… she is not worthy.’

Jada Pinkett Smith wrote in her post: “Even in some of our great religious traditions the goddess becomes powerless without her male counterpart. We mere mortal women are worthy simply because we exist! And those of us who have cultivated our Queendom within our inner realm and have a deep relationship with the Great and the Supreme. If we so choose to connect with someone from this space, we will receive love and give birth to treasures.”

And the actress added: “We don’t need to be bound by fear. You are the greatness”. Her post drew several comments criticizing her and she was forced to make her account private.
