Are you and your group ready to solve a mysterious theft of an ancient Greek statue from a museum in our country? If yes, then you should definitely visit it Information Center of the Hellenic Police at the 88th International Exhibition of Thessalonikiat the southern gate of TIF.

The Greek Police, for the first time, gives citizens the opportunity to solve a crime, through a modern escape room, also known as an escape room.

Groups of people put on special business vests and enter the dark room. In there, they are given the first clues in order to solve the mystery, locate the perpetrator and then the police proceed to arrest him.

After the crime is solved and the perpetrator who stole the ancient Greek statue of great value from the museum is arrested, the team exits the escape room. There, they talk with officers of the Greek Police about the unique experience they lived but also about which elements played a decisive role in solving the case.

To solve the mystery in the museum, visitors use methods and systems similar to those used in real cases. If they are good investigators, then they are sure to catch the thief.

“For the first time in our booth there is an escape room. Essentially, visitors are invited to become police officers, to explore the evidence of a crime and find the perpetrator, as it happens in reality”, said the press representative of EL.AS in her statements to thestival.gr. Constantia Dimoglidou.

“One of the main themes that a visitor can see here is the Criminal Investigation Department piece which this year we have brought a game. Each participating team will play and step into the role of a crime scene investigator and solve a crime. We give clues to each group, they look for the traces left by the perpetrator, solve puzzles and use systems and methods that we also use. If they are good, they track down the perpetrator and get his name out. It is as interesting as a game”, said the deputy police director, head of the Investigations Department of the Directorate of Criminal Investigations of the Hellenic Police Headquarters, speaking to thestival.gr. Panagiotis Kopitsis.

Immediately after solving the highly acclaimed case of the theft of the ancient Greek statue, the whole team can be photographed outside the escape room.
