The family of the sole survivor of the first carriage of the Tempe tragedy, denies the transfer of the young student to a rehabilitation center in Larissa.
The family of Gerasimos – the sole survivor of the first carriage of the Tempe tragedy – denies, through their lawyer, the news of the transfer of the young student from America to Greece, to a rehabilitation center in Larissa.
According to what the lawyer of the Gerasimos family, Loukas Apostolidis, told the Free Press, the family has already been admitted to a special diagnostic center in Milan, to continue his rehabilitation there.
As TheNewspaper.gr wrote, the 22-year-old Volio student completed his rehabilitation cycle in Boston and is set to return in the coming weeks to continue his treatment at a Rehabilitation Center in Larissa.
Doctors who have been watching him for almost a year have not been able to wake him up from the deep coma he fell into during the train accident on February 28, 2023.
“I, in my turn, ask for everyone’s respect, just like Gerasimos’ father, because I think that life is not just about communication tricks. Essentially, it always remains the symbol, which makes a great complaint to the “fat-skinned” state, which throughout time does not ensure the safety of citizens, i.e. the most valuable asset of people… called life” added the family’s lawyer.
