The 49-year-old man, who was arrested by the Police and accused of causing serious bodily harm to his 41-year-old partner, will be brought before the District Attorney of Patras today.

The woman suffered a severe brain injury and is being treated at a hospital in Attica.

In particular, according to the Police, an EKAV ambulance picked up the 41-year-old woman outside a hotel in Patras at dawn yesterday and took her to the “Agios Andreas” hospital, accompanied by her 49-year-old partner.

After conducting medical examinations, it was established, according to the Police, that the 41-year-old woman had a severe brain injury and a fracture of the occipital bone, as a result of which she was intubated.

Then, due to the criticality of her health condition, it was decided to transfer her to a hospital in Attica.

At the same time, in the context of the investigations carried out by the Patras Police, it emerged that her partner was waiting for the 41-year-old outside the hotel where she was staying at dawn yesterday.

According to the Police, when the woman came out of the hotel, he approached her and caused her serious physical injuries.
