The developments in the case of five dead babies are rapid. A team from the Homicide Department arrived yesterday morning at Amaliadain order to receive the case file for the death of little Panagiotakis who disappeared last August.

The description of Irene

In an interview, the 24-year-old, regarding the death of little Panagiotis, had argued that “…as soon as his mother came out of the bathroom, she went and saw Panagiotakis who was sitting bent over, she went to pick him up, he couldn’t breathe . She saw it herself that something happened, I say to her “what are you talking about?”… She was trying to breathe, I put the child on the couch and she vomited, her eyes were red, she vomited again. Popi was back in the car, she didn’t see it, I told her “let’s go home to change”.

Father: It is a criminal act

For the child’s father, his death is a criminal act. His lawyer, Katerina Mavroides, speaking to Tasoula Papanikolaou, argues that “…with the sudden death of the child, suspicions entered him that this death cannot be from pathological causes.
