An EKAV ambulance picked up the 41-year-old woman outside a hotel in Patras in the early hours of 4/11 and took her to “Agios Andreas” hospital, accompanied by her 49-year-old partner.

After conducting medical examinations, it was established, according to the Police, that the 41-year-old woman had a severe brain injury and a fracture of the occipital bone, as a result of which she was intubated.

Then, due to the criticality of her health condition, it was decided to transfer her to a hospital in Attica.

At the same time, in the context of the investigations carried out by the Patras Police, it emerged that her partner was waiting for the 41-year-old outside the hotel where she was staying at dawn yesterday.

According to the Police, when the woman came out of the hotel, he approached her and caused her serious physical injuries.

After his confession to the investigator, the 49-year-old was remanded in custody
