A real estate agency attributes the posting of an ad for the sale of property to a technical error Acropolis. In communication that had the skai.gr with the brokerage in question, its representative stated that the publication of the specific ad, which stated that a single-family house on Dionysiou Areopagitou Street is for sale, was due to an error in its management system, thus categorically denying that an order has been given to sell it.

The ad was posted, at least until earlier today Wednesday, on reputable websites in Greece and abroad such as in “jamesedition.com” and on the website of “Metro One Real Estate”. However, this listing has now been retired.

According to her Dailymembers of the owning family said they were evaluating whether to file a lawsuit against the brokerages, which they said acted “on their own accord.” At the same time, in response to a related question, they explain that the photos of the property published in the aforementioned posts are older.

The price at which the detached house appeared to be sold corresponds to 90,900 euros per square meter, with the total price amounting to 300 million euros (the property is said to be 3,300 square meters).

The property of special aesthetics, which is said to belong to a well-known business family active in the construction industry, has an unobstructed view of the Acropolis, especially from its terrace shaped like a garden. It is located in a unique location, right across from the rock of the Acropolis.

The price shown as a sale price would be the highest residential price in Greece and one of the highest worldwide, both in absolute terms and in euros per square meter.

In any case, it is surprising how the ad was published without prior approval from the owners.
