Mr. Tachiaos said he received a phone call from a PAE agent in Thessaloniki who told him that people “will spoil what you are preparing, they will break everything the day after tomorrow when Mitsotakis comes”.
The Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Nikos Tachiaos, visited the Thessaloniki Courthouse on Thursday.
Mr. Tachiaos went to the office of the Head of the Prosecutor’s Office of Thessaloniki, in order to inform about the need to investigate the commission of any criminal acts, in view of the operation of the Thessaloniki Metro.
As said by Mr. Tachiaos, received a phone call from a major PAE agent in Thessaloniki “where I was suddenly told that look, thousands of people are gathered, they are preparing to spoil what you are preparing, they will break everything for you the day after tomorrow when Mitsotakis comes”.
The same person asked him to convey the message to the prime minister.
“This is a message you are not conveying to the Prime Minister, it is a message you are conveying to the judiciary,” said Mr. Tachiaos.
He emphasized that the government of Kyriakos Mitsotakis is neither threatened, nor blackmailed, nor does it negotiate with hooliganism and added that Thessaloniki has mourned victims of hooliganism, recalling the case of Alkis Kampanos.
