Hostage speaks English to Trump and Hebrew to Netanyahu to secure his release
Hamas released a video today showing an Israeli-American hostage speaking in English to US President-elect Donald Trump and in Hebrew to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to secure his release.
There was no immediate comment from the family of 20-year-old hostage Edan Alexander, or from Israeli authorities, who have characterized such hostage-taking videos by Hamas as barbaric psychological warfare.
‼️ Sickening ‼️
Hamas just published this video which reads “Soon…Time is running out” in Hebrew, English, and Arabic.

The young man is seen in the video asking the Israelis to put pressure on the government to release him and all the hostages still being held in Gaza.
About half of the 101 foreign and Israeli hostages still being held in the Gaza Strip are believed to be still alive.
All but four were abducted in the Hamas attack in southern Israel on October 7, 2023.
Hamas leaders were expected to travel to Cairo today for talks with Egyptian officials on a ceasefire in the Israel-Hamas war, to explore ways to reach a deal that could secure the release of hostages in exchange for the release of Palestinian prisoners.
