The bad weather “Bora” has caused serious problems on the Thessaloniki-Athens railway network, after falling trees and interruption of the electricity supply, as a result of which some of the company’s itineraries were affected.
In a statement issued by Hellenic Train, it states that, Hellenic Train informs the passenger public that due to the intense weather phenomena of the last 24 hours, significant problems have been caused on the Thessaloniki-Athens line due to falling trees and power outages, with the result that some from the itineraries.

“Hellenic Train staff is making every effort to normalize the situation as quickly as possible and thanks the passenger public for their understanding,” the company concluded in its statement.
