A bloody shooting incident with two dead and one wounded occurred at 10.20 in the morning inside an Opap Play store in Glyfada, in the Terpsithea area.
The shots were fired at the junction of Nicosia and Mikra Asia streets. The victims were taken by EKAB ambulance to Asklipieio Voulas, where they were pronounced dead. The third person is hospitalized with serious injuries.
He immediately raised the alarm to the police who rushed to the scene, cordoning off the area and investigating the causes.
According to the latest information, the victims are of Kurdish origin while the evidence so far shows that it is not an armed robbery, with the authorities considering the possibility that personal differences are behind the bloody fight.
More than 10 shell casings have been found at the scene, while the police proceeded to arrest two people, who according to information, are of Turkish origin.
The Directorate for Combating Organized Crime took over the case.
