Mobilizations in Larissa and Karditsa were decided by farmers and breeders at the pan-Hellenic meeting convened by the Pan-Hellenic Blocks Committee in Nice.

Representatives of farmers from 67 associations and 27 Federations and representatives of agencies from all over Greece, who traveled to Larissa in order to convey the situation prevailing in the primary sector in their region, decided to take out the tractors on second fortnight of January, excluding parts of the national highway.

As conveyed to the general meeting according to the NEWS, the current year may have been the most disastrous for the crops as the production was so small that in some cases it reached 50% to 70% compared to the previous years.

Karditsa opens the dance of mobilizations. Next Wednesday, December 18, they will hold a rally on the E65 highway outside Karditsa.

According to ERT, among the proposals made at the meeting were to set up blockades at ports and airports, at customs and borders to put even more pressure on the government to solve their problems while it was discussed to repeat the descent of the tractors in Athens.

In order to organize the mobilizations, the Boards of Directors of the Agricultural Associations and Federations throughout the country will meet in the next few days and tours and meetings will be organized in the villages to inform the agricultural world.
