Campaign for her helmet use begins the Ministry of Health in order to convince them machine drivers on the importance of safe driving.

In the video released to the public, in fact, the Minister of Health Adonis Georgiadis is the protagonist, who describes how the helmet saved him, when he had a car accident years ago. He also announced that the initiative of a gas station owner in Crete who decided not to give fuel to those who do not wear a helmet, after the traffic accident of a 17-year-old boy, is expanding.

In his post, Mr. Georgiadis says:

“I am really sick of what I learn and see every day in our Hospitals, mainly young children, who lose their lives because they were not wearing a helmet! Agrinio, Kissamos Chania, Volos, etc. are some of the cities that mourn their own children, who left like this in the last few days only. It’s a shame! Hundreds of people die every year, families are destroyed, we lose our future for something so simple!

On Friday, I called the Federation of Petrol Dealers and we agreed, and I thank them, to extend throughout Greece the great initiative of their colleague, who announced that will not provide fuel to drivers machine who go to the gas station without a helmet.

With the Minister of Development @theodorikakosp we agreed on a joint campaign and he will legislate on it and I thank him.

Today I present to you a spot that I filmed with my partners the day before yesterday, so that we can raise awareness as many as we can and we will see what other actions we will think of.

Do as much as you can, every action we take in this matter counts».
