Antonietta Cucina
The Italian restaurant, which had been closed for three years, was reopened at a new address. Now, it occupies Arturito’s old property, in Pinheiros. Chef Milton Freitas revives house classics and makes additions. The fresh pasta made there is the highlight, including ziti with beef ragout cooked at low temperature for six hours (R$78).

Aizomê
Chef Telma Shiraishi serves the traditional ozoni, a soup made with moti (glutinous rice balls), vegetarian broth, chard rolls, shiitake, carrots, turnips, chives, mioga (a type of ginger) and kombu seaweed. The dish, which according to tradition brings health and happiness, is prepared by the Japanese on the first day of the year and will be served from 2 to 5/1, for R$36.

Voted the best restaurant for business lunch in O Melhor de São Paulo – Gastronomia 2023, the address celebrates two years with new features. Among the additions are the sea bass crudo in lemon sauce, with olives and burrata (R$ 86) and the octopus meatballs with raw ham and pepper jelly (R$ 69).

Le Blé Bread House
The artisanal bakery has new features, such as viennoiseries items in savory versions and delicacies that feature charcuterie produced on site. Among them is the puff pastry roll with fillings such as pastrami with cheese and Dijon mustard (R$ 18). There are also new sweets, such as the entrement citron, with almond pâte sablée biscuits on the base and vanilla mousse in the dough, filled with lemon cream (R$ 32). Furthermore, partners Fábio Pasquale and Martin Jirousek, also in charge of Sancho Bar y Tapas, launched Academia Le Blé, with free courses in baking, patisserie and charcuterie — the program can be seen on Instagram.

The new Italian restaurant in the city occupies the former home of actress Cacilda Becker, in Itaim Bibi. In the elegant room, classic pastas are served, such as spaghetti carbonara (R$ 89), and five burrata options, such as the one with different types of tomatoes and arugula, for R$ 75. For R$ 149, a board arrives at the table with cold cuts and cheeses.

Matheus Rosa Confeitaria Brasileira
The confectioner from Rio de Janeiro, who participated in the first edition of MasterChef Confeitaria, has just opened his own bakery, in Itaim Bibi. There, he combines modern techniques, international influences and Brazilian flavors. In the window, Rosa displays desserts such as jabuticaba entremet, made with jabuticaba mousse with white chocolate, fruit jelly and chestnut joconde (R$ 25). He also prepares hand-painted chocolates, pies and filled chocolate bars, as well as savory options and coffees.

The luxurious bar at the Rosewood hotel has renewed its cocktail menu with the arrival of mixologist Gabriel Bressane, who previously worked at the Ritz and has his own luxury cocktail brand. He highlights Brazilian ingredients in his creations, such as the fruity taperebá (R$80), which contains gin, dry vermouth and cajá cordial (Amazonian fruit) with pepper.

Chef Thomas Troisgros’s Rio burger restaurant has launched a trio of new features. They are the shredded cod fritter with potatoes and spices (R$ 24.90; four units), a burger with chicken breast breaded in panko flour, plus melted cheddar cheese, bacon, lettuce, tomato and tartar sauce on a brioche bun ( R$ 49.90; only at the Itaim Bibi unit) and the guava cheesecake milkshake (R$ 39.90).

In Ibirapuera Park, the Brazilian restaurant has new features on its food and drink menu. Chef Filipe Leite presents dishes such as barreado, with cooked wagyu breast, bacon and spices, accompanied by cassava, grilled plantains, garlic farofa and pickled red onions (R$79). On the ethyl side, mixologist Jairo Gama prepares drinks such as the jabuti royale (R$45), with gin, jabuticaba puree and powder, rosemary, basil and orange juice. A harmonized menu combines three cocktails and three mini-desserts, for R$86.
