The first week of 2025 brings gastronomic news to the capital of São Paulo, which includes a newly opened bar, new drink menus and a partnership between chef and author to create a special menu. See below.

Boteco da Glória

The partners of St. Etienne opened a bar with a Rio feel at the address where the bakery operated for 33 years, on a corner in Jardins. The menu is extensive and features draft beer, drinks, wines, grilled meats and fish, pê-fes, portions and sandwiches.

Conde’s Grocery Store

The restaurant has a drinks menu signed by specialist Daniel de Mesquita Benevides, columnist for Folha. It revives lesser-known classic cocktails, such as the French 75 (R$46), with champagne, gin, lemon juice and sugar.

Tanager Jean-Georges

Recognized with a Michelin star, the luxurious restaurant designed by French chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten has a new tasting menu. There are two options: the premium option (R$990) brings items such as caviar and grilled wagyu, and the six-stroke suggestion (R$770), with recipes such as crispy rack of lamb with broccoli and sweet and sour smoked pepper glace. There are also à la carte dishes, such as the new tagliolini with pistachios.
