Actress Maria Gladys, 85, left her daughter worried on New Year’s Eve. After not finding her mother in the apartment she was staying in in Rio de Janeiro, Maria Thereza Mello Maron made a post on Facebook saying she was missing. Gladys, however, was found a few hours after the post.
“Friends, Maria Gladys has been missing since yesterday at 5 am! The police say they need to wait 24 hours. I don’t know what to do! Help!”, said Maria Thereza’s post this Wednesday morning (1st).
About two hours later, she returned to the social network to clarify that she had found her mother. “I managed to find her. She’s at the Hotel Venezuela, in Flamengo. Sorry for the scare, it’s because she’s in an apartment in Sá Ferreira and when I arrived and couldn’t find her, I panicked,” he wrote.
Gladys was photographed with fans on New Year’s Eve in Rio. In one of the posts, an X user (formerly Twitter) published two photos with the actress and wrote: “me and the grandmother of the American actress Mia Goth”.
Mia Gypsy Mello da Silva Goth is the protagonist of the films “MaXXXine”, “X — The Mark of Death” and “Pearl” and married to actor and director Shia LaBeouf.
The story that reveals her relationship with the Hollywood actress begins with Gladys’ exile in the United Kingdom during the period of the military dictatorship and appears to follow a movie script.
At that time, from a “simple but free” relationship, as she said, came a pregnancy. However, paternity was only discovered when the actress returned to Rio de Janeiro, when a friend saw that the son of the actress’s former boyfriend looked very similar to Raquel Goth, daughter of Maria Gladys. Contact made, DNA samples collected and that’s it, case confirmed.
