A state of emergency will be declared in Kitries in Messinia, as the Minister of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection announced to SKAI and the show “Today” Vassilis Kikilias.
“The bad weather is not over yet and the frost in the next few days will create problems and needs attention. Mayors may keep some schools closed. Let’s listen to the Traffic, snow tires and chains, where required”, said Mr. Kikilias initially.
For the serious damage in Kitries Mr. Kikilias said that he contacted the mayor and that “the supplies went down to the houses and the streets. We will declare the municipality in a state of emergency. We had other small problems in Greece, but nothing alarming.”
