With the symbolic participation of about 10 tractors from the region of Viotia, the agricultural rally in Athens will take place on Friday. It will be in Vathi Square and maybe in Syntagma.
It is estimated that the bulk of the farmers will come to Athens by bus.

The president of EOAS Karditsa, Costas Tzellas, referring to the prime minister’s announcements for agricultural oil, stressed that “they are made under the pressure of the farmers’ struggle and this argument was invoked by the Minister of Rural Development in Brussels recently in order to press for measures. “Let farmers know that government announcements may be delayed for obvious reasons, but no struggle is lost.”
Finally, Mr. Tzellas referred to the tragic situation of the hail-stricken cotton growers in Karditsa and Farsala, for whom there is a risk that they will not be able to cultivate this year, as the findings of ELGA have been delayed and they have not received any allowances since last summer. while the danger is visible, despite the commitments to the contrary from the ELGA administration, not to receive the tied aid to cotton next week, but to postpone it to June.
