The president of PASOK – KINAL, Nikos Androulakis, unleashes severe criticism of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and the ND government for the tragedy of Tempi through his Facebook post.

Mr. Androulakis mentions that in yesterday’s debate in the Parliament, he raised the issue in view of today’s gatherings, but as he points out “Mr. Mitsotakis did not feel the need to answer. Not to me, but to the Greek citizens. Of course, I didn’t expect anything better. After all, he is the same one who had rushed to draw a “conclusion” on his own, right after the tragedy.”

The president of PASOK-KINAL notes that “the citizens are disappointed. The crisis of confidence in the institutions is constantly escalating because in a series of cases, with the Tempe tragedy at the top, it is perceived that the distinction between the executive power and the judiciary is diminishing”.

He assigns full responsibility for this to the prime minister, stressing that “he had talked about a “huge projector with light”, but the revelations show his anxiety to cover the case with a huge veil of concealment”.

Mr. Androulakis underlines the actions taken by PASOK to completely clear up the accident with the latest denunciation of the provision for the Committee of Medical Examiners in the latest draft law of the Ministry of Justice on domestic violence and concludes: “Mr. Mitsotakis did not respond yesterday. It’s not unreasonable either. New Democracy had already responded a few months ago. With her warm applause to Kostas Karamanlis.

As it has been written, Justice is the respect of human dignity.

Justice and Truth are Oxygen”, concludes the president of PASOK-Change Movement in his post.

In detail, the post of the president of PASOK – KINAL:

“In yesterday’s debate in the Parliament, I asked Mr Prime Minister the issue of the tragedy of Tempe on the occasion of the gatherings, which are organized today from one end to the other throughout Greece.

Mr. Mitsotakis did not feel the need to answer. Not to me, but to the Greek citizens.

Of course, I didn’t expect anything better.
After all, he is the same one who had rushed to draw his own “conclusion”, immediately after the tragedy.

Citizens are disappointed. The crisis of confidence in the institutions is constantly escalating, because in a series of cases with the Tempe tragedy at the top, it is perceived that the distinction between the executive power and the judiciary is diminishing. And absolutely responsible is the Prime Minister, who had spoken of a “huge floodlight”, but the revelations show his anxiety to cover the affair with a huge veil of cover-up.

From the first moment, we had requested the establishment of a preliminary investigation committee to investigate any criminal responsibilities of Costas Karamanlis following the conclusion of the European Prosecutor for the non-completion of contract 717 and the installation of remote control in the railway network, which would have prevented any possibility of train collisions . They denied the obvious.

We denounced the government majority in the commission of inquiry, which operated with the sole aim of excluding critical witnesses, protecting government officials, not investigating the circumstances of intervention at the scene of the crime, ending its work despite the non-completion of summoning the witnesses that the opposition he had also proposed for the ruling majority’s finding that ends up with the “human error” factor.

We filed a motion of no confidence against the government following the revelation of the hacked audio documents of conversations leaked to a friendly Medium and used by the government to support the narrative of mere “human error”.

And yesterday we highlighted the absolutely “suspicious” provision of no. 41 par. 6 of the Ministry of Justice’s Domestic Violence Bill, whereby the government creates a three-member coroner’s panel, appointed by the Minister for Justice. This committee will even be able to intervene ex officio and re-evaluate forensic reports, findings and causes of death recorded by coroners.

But aside from that, it’s infuriating that they constantly try to target and morally attack those who stand up to dark practices while trying to get their point across. Just as infuriating are the public statements of top government officials, which show disrespect for the suffering of the families of the 57 victims of this unspeakable tragedy.

Mr. Mitsotakis did not respond yesterday. It’s not unreasonable either. New Democracy had already responded a few months ago. With her warm applause to Kostas Karamanlis.

As it has been written, Justice is respect for human dignity.
Justice and Truth are Oxygen.
