More than 20kg of raw cannabis were seized by police officers from the Orestiada Security Directorate in the Evros area.
Two foreigners, members of a criminal group, a single foreigner, are being sought for the introduction, transportation, trafficking and possession of drugs.
In particular, in the context of a coordinated operation, police officers from the Orestiada Security Directorate found and seized more than 20kg of raw cannabis yesterday, yesterday, Friday, February 7, at the Kastai border.

During a search carried out by the police, in collaboration with their colleagues by the Castanes Police Station and Customs officials, they found a specially designed 41 nylon package with raw cannabis, weighing 20 kg and 624 grams.
It was found that the detainees introduced the above quantity of drugs from Bulgaria to the country and intended to export it to Turkey, transporting it with a vehicle owned by the foreign perpetrator.
The amount of cannabis, the car car used by the perpetrators and two cell phones were seized.
The detainees will be referred to the Orestiada Public Prosecutor, while the Orestiada Security Directorate is investigating.
