Specifically, according to an announcement by the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, last month, recruitment announcements amounted to 153,768, while departures amounted to 138,579 (68,398 voluntary departures and 70,181 terminations of indefinite or expired contracts). As a result, the February balance was positive by 15,189 jobs.
In the two months January-February, recruitment announcements amounted to 291,751 and departures reached 302,366 (162,271 terminations of indefinite contracts or expiration of fixed-term contracts and 140,095 voluntary departures). Thus, as pointed out in the announcement, the balance of his employment flows first two months of the year was negative by 10,615 jobs, as in January departures it was more from the hiringsmainly due to the restrictive measures taken at the time to protect public health.
