The professor claims that they are registered in the Municipality of Athens and on the electoral rolls, people who illegally have Greek citizenship
Appeal to the Council of State was filed by her professor Law School of the NCSR of Panagiotis Lazaratos asking for the annulment of the adjective of the adjective “De Gree” and the awarding of Greek citizenship to members of the former royal family.
Mr Lazaratos states that his legitimate interest is “in the fact that they are registered in the Athens municipality register, and therefore in the electoral rolls, people who illegally have Greek citizenship because of the illegal adjective” and continues:
“Utilizing Greek citizenship, they may participate as electors by co-existing- affecting the election result of parliamentary or municipal-regional elections and in this way, but is distorted by the principle of popular sovereignty which in the right of its election requires no lawful acquisition.“
At the same time, Mr Lazaratos states that “according to article 6 par.
- To make an unconditional statement of respect for the Constitution, acceptance and recognition of the state of the President of the Parliamentary Republic and the outcome of the December 8, 1974 referendum, which defined the form of the politics in a non -underlying change.
- To explicitly and unconditionally declare, before the same registrar resignation from all kinds of claims, which are linked to the past or occupation of any title and the occupation of any title and
- To enroll in the male registries or the municipal or community of the state by name, surname and the rest of the necessary identity. “
The provision of Article 4 (7) of the Constitution “aims not to maintain a spirit of superiority of the holding title of noble or discrimination with a view to the renovation of a state issue under advantages for him,” according to the professor and continues:
“This provision “establishes popular sovereignty so that the deceased king or descendants can never be overwhelmed by the democracy, the cohesion of the state and the social cohesion, as their deceased, descendants and expressionists are prevented by their descendants, and their descendants.“
Consequently, according to Mr. Lazaratos, “From the abolition of the kingdom and thereafter, its hitherto personal body as well as its descendants are not entitled to rely on a surname title of power they had and lost, such as the adjective “de grh”, as this is unrelated to our form and fundamental principles.“
Finally, according to Professor ‘TArticle 4 (7) of the Constitution aims not to be named that will give it the glamor and class origin of the past, so as to raise social equality, social cohesion and the very existence of democratic politics.“
