Another detail is that customers will be able to follow the production of sweets, as the São Paulo unit will be a “theater store”. On site, there will also be a bright warning where “Hot Now” will be written. When it is lit, it means that the original Glazed donuts are being produced.
The United States company, which today offers its donuts in over 40 countries, was born in 1937. Its headquarters is located in the city Charlotte, North Carolina.
The brand coming to Brazil is the result of a partnership with the convenience stores of the Ipiranga AMPM stations, which has over 1,500 retail points throughout all regions of the country.
According to Paulo Calil, president of Krispy Kreme in Brazil, the opening of the first branch should generate about 100 direct jobs at first.
