At the same time, according to the same announcement, EPANAAM is calling for the European Railway Organization (ERA) official information both on the contracts entrusted with the investigation of the accident, as well as for the deliverables of the contracts, if any, by academic institutions, Gent University and Universita.

In detail, the organization’s announcement states:

“At today’s meeting of the Board of Directors of the National Air Force and Transport Security Agency, all its members were informed about Mr. Christos Papadimitriou’s resignation.

Greece now has an operating organization of air and rail accident investigation. EPANAAM will be strengthened with additional scientific staff and will continue with independence and dedication its work, with the aim of preventing serious accidents.“
